FORM FOLLOWS FLOW

Resistance is a study on creating form that speaks to its intentions. In this case, the form ripples with curvy, undulating surfaces that conjure up images of rippling water.

AQUATIC ERGONOMICS

Resistance is a fitness fin developed as a study on form. The fitness fin is intended for use as a strength-building tool in water. Primary uses include building tone or recovering through physical therapy.

Orienting the fin on the hand is simple. There’s a flexible cuff that fits around the user’s wrist, and a cusiony pad for comfort. On the front underside of the paddle there’s an ergonomic elastic band that the user’s fingers slide into, so even individuals with gripping problems should be able to use Resistance with ease.
