Two new sports are expected to be introduced to the Olympic games in 2012: Ultra Marathon Running and Ultra Mountain Bike Trail Racing. Split22 is a solution for top athletes to carry hydration and nutrition during these endurance races.

Though inspired by and designed for Olympic athletes, the adaptability of Split22 will allow it to penetrate the mass market of consumers looking for a versatile hydration solution.

Endurance athletes need to stay light and carry as little as possible. The current industry standard of 70-oz. of hydration exceeds the capacity our customer is looking for. And a single 70-oz. pack half-full is a sloshing nightmare. Split22 chamberizes the load, and gives the user options for fuel while keeping them light on their feet.

For shorter runs, Split22 becomes two separately usable 22-oz. messenger-style packs, each with its own drinking tube.
